    Pastel Partner v11 installation

    Hi everyone,

    We're trying to retrieve some data from some old Pastel company files which we suspect is back from when we were using Pastel Partner v11, but have unfortunately misplaced the installation disks.

    Is there anyway we can find out to make sure which version of Pastel these company files are?

    Also, since we think it's Partner v11, is there a website where we could download the installation files? We only need to view some data, nothing to edit.

    First unzip the downloaded file before installing.

    Hi Neville, is it possible to send me the same link please. Ive just moved to a new MacBook Pro running parallels with no cd drive and need to load the software. TIA.

    Good day to you Neville.

    I am retired but I use our Pastel Partner V11 for the management of our family trust.

    Last month my computer "retired" on me.

    Fortunately I have copies of my different companies and the information was backed up offline and restored.

    I re-registered Pastel online and have tried to open the companies to prepare some work on the trust, but found that every one gives me an error message that the information/data was prepared by/on an older version of Pastel Partner. Something that I find strange as I have installed from the one and only original CD that I purchased from Pastel in I think 2006.

    I see you have a version that might assist me in opening these. If I may, can I ask you to help me with acccess, even if I can manage to export the information to Excel and re-import. The easiest will be for something that can open the companies from the server outright.

    I am really humbled and forever grateful if you can assist me.

    Hi Sass,

    The build version on your CD was probably superseded by a later build of Version 11, which is why you are getting the message.

    Here is a link to download Pastel Partner V11 Build 11.3.1, which is the latest build.

    Firstly thank you for being so helpful. One rarely finds a person that responds so rapidly.

    I have download the software. Can you please let me have a quick explanation how to install it and use it?

    Hi Sass,

    To install the software, first close Pastel and then unzip/extract the file that you downloaded, and then open the folder and double-click the setup.exe file.

    I thank you so much.

    I battled a little, but then I decided to change the computer BIOS and system date to 2011, I installed the version that you supplied me, and my companies are all working again.

    I am elated. I have the entire history from 2009 back again!

    Obviously the date is set back to the present in Windows 11.
