Uni T UT 12A non contact voltage pen.

I am a firm believer in Quality products ...when it comes to test equipment...99 % of my equipment id Fluke ...however ... now and again i make the mistake of purchase cheaper junk...like major tech (not all major tech is junk...KEW products sold by major have proved to be a quality product) and Uni T ...etc

I purchased a hand full of these Uni T non contact voltage pens ...non contact pens being useful for checking for breaks in extension cords etc (never rely on it for checking power you actually need to work on)...they work for a a couple weeks and you end throwing them away...tried returning them under warranty...thats is just another joke...i suppose when you are unloading this kind of junk it would bankrupt the business if you offered a replacement every couple of weeks.
