[Question] Cordless BT Graphite Phone LCD missing letters/digits

The problem is the 2nd handset which is about 7 years old.
The digits/letters on the LCD are broken up and unable to read. another problem is the unresponsive keyboard which needs to be pressed hard and even then not sure if contact is made. Does anybody know whether one of these cell phone repair shops do this sort of work? The other base handset is working fine and I don't want to buy a new set if it can be avoided.

I doubt it's financially viable to fix the handset. You can buy a set of two Panasonic cordless phones with base station and charger for 800 Bucks brand new. https://www.takealot.com/panasonic-k...k/PLID54512212

You could also try RS Components, they sell a wide range of BT cordless phones and they'll deliver to your door but I'm not sure if any of the newer BT handsets are compatible with your 7 year old Graphite base station. There's a 'Live Chat' available on the RS website so maybe ask them. https://za.rs-online.com/web/c/compu...order=asc&pn=1

Thanks Andy D. I hear what you say and have decided to buy a new set after trying two cell phone repairers in PE. I will probably go with RS where I bought the problem one. I fitted UK G type plugs in my place to accommodate them.
