    YEAR END

I'm looking for urgent help on year end procedures. I am running books for a small farming operation and do very limited bookkeeping. Invoices (handled by someone else), Credit Notes and Payments. That's the sum total of my input. There are no month end procedures besides statements which are run - very few debtors, mainly cash customers. No Year-end procedures are run either. All of this is handled by the Accountant with them being supplied with figures. My question is this. The system is set up with 13 periods, with last period being the 1st of the next year. How do I close the year off so that dates automate to current year. I am at a complete loss. All the invoice dates had to be changed to March 2019 as they automated to 2018. With the new month April, they have automated to 2020. Before I update ANY batches, I need this rectified. :

    Thanks in Advance!
