Could you post a screenshot of the error message, as well as the list of companies in the Pastel menu?

As soon as you try to open the company it throws out the run time error 5 and kicks you out of pastel. I can't seem to upload the screenshot, but it says Run time error 5: invalid procedure call or arguement

How have you named the company folder?

If the company folder name exceeds 8 characters or includes special characters, you will probably get that error.

We have tried that, but the error keeps on persisting.

Most likely a corrupt user file. You have a blank record in the file. You will need to have a consultant re-create the accuser file, which would include re-creating users, passwords and document numbers.
