    Yes econo accounting does statements open item or balance forward.
    Only stress when you can change the outcome!

    I consider the ability to computerise the statement run as one of the greatest steps forward for small business - perhaps any business.

    "Back in the day" of manual books, generating a statement run was a real problem. Can you imagine typing up a statement run even if you had as few as 100 debtors? Mind you, in those days, people were better at paying their accounts in good time too.

    We use Pastel because that was what the initial accountant used, but we are investigating moving to quickbooks because it has integration to virtue mart.

    We manage a few online shops and this will be a great thing to be able to import all the data from virtue mart, huge time saving.
