    Flexible conduit

    Hi guys
I have come across flexible conduit in a garden where it's used to protect 1mm T+E going to a 220V garden spike light againts the uv rays. Can one of you tell me how legal this is? According to me its not.

If a cable only requires protection from sunlight I guess flexible conduit could be used although it's not the way I'd go about it. If the cable requires any other form of protection then flexible conduit would not suffice.

    Hi

With regards to the regulations there is nothing incorrect with this situation.
