Smile Pastel Partner - automating Bulk batches of Customer Statements

    Good morning,

Currently my accounts team are running customer statements on Partner v17 one at a time and takes time. I would like to help them and make life easier.

Surely in pastel even if not automated on a monthly basis, one must be able to generate batches per customer category where Pastel will then email all the individual customers their respective statements in bulk, eliminating the manual one by one process?

Would be most grateful for any help figuring how to do this function.

    Thank you,

I assume you are referring to the Outlook generated security prompts that ask you to click on "Allow" for each statement?

If so, then you can download and install a free piece of software called ClickYes, which you can download from my Dropbox folder at the following link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/32vp3vgzp5...Setup.exe?dl=0

Once it has been installed, right-click on the icon in your system tray and make sure that the only option ticked is "Start on Logon".

The app will automate the clicking of "Allow", which will dramatically speed up bulk emailing of statements.

Many Thanks Neville, yes I'm familiar... but the process I spoke of:

    • View
    • Customer Monthly
    • Statements
    • Output options/ print every statement
    • Customer account start & end: customer name
    • Category start and end from branches to the last one
    • Date you run the month we currently in
    • Press ok
    • Save as pdf under the finance drive
    • All branches

How does one automate the sending of the statements above in bulk, is it possible? Sorry if I'm asking something obvious, I'm a complete Novice using Pastel?

    Thanks again

You need to select the Output Option "Email as per Customer File", not "Print every Statement".
