    Pastel: Matching credit note/invoice

    Hallo fellow members,

Please help! I am caught off guard. I am trying to issue credit notes on a customer account. The drop down list of invoices to which I wish to link the credit note to does not show the invoice. However, if I view the detailed ledger of the customer, the invoice is listed! Am I missing something? I reckon it cant be settings because I am not experiencing the same problem with other customers.

Wainting in anticipation for your resque!

    Thanks

Was the customer account created as an Open Item account or as a Brought Forward account?

You can check by opening the account record and then go to the Processing tab and look under the Processing Options section.

Hallo Neville, Thank you much. Yes its set up on open item account and now greyed out, cant access the brought forward option. What know, no way out correcting this?

No need to change it, as I was hoping that it was set to Open Item processing.

It looks like you have some data corruption in the Open Item data table.

I can fix the corruption via TeamViewer if you want me to - send me a private message or email so that we can arrange a time.
