Medical Aid Contributions to medical aid

Got a case that medical tax certificate state contributions paid by member and separate amount paid by organisation.
SARS have now disallowed amount paid by organisation

Please advise if anyone had the same problem before as the total contributions paid by member and organisation should be allowed

Going to file objection as both amounts should be allowed

    Thanks for any feed back

Contributions made by the employer is taxable, but at the same time deemed to be paid by the employee, therefore it is definitely deductible from your taxable income.

Perhaps the return/IRP5 was completed incorrectly? Has this issue been resolved yet?
