    SARS Efiling documents

I have a problem with my SARS efiling when opening pdf documents.

It keeps on telling me that I need the latest version of PDF viewer. I am on the latest version. Is there a setting that I am missing?

I can download the file, open it and view it. Most of the time I don't need to save the file and it will be easier to just view it in the browser.

What operating system and browsers are you using?

If Windows, then you need to make sure you restart your browser after installing. Preferably do not use Chrome and try to use Firefox even on PC. If your using MacOS, then you need to use Firefox - you cannot use Chrome or Safari and you cannot install flash on on MacOS.

The built in PDF viewer in Chrome/Firefox cannot open any of the SARS PDF documents. You will need to download and open within Adobe Acrobat.

The only browser that will allow you to view the PDF is Internet Explorer which is still found in Windows 10.

    SOLUTION (from https://mybroadband.co.za/news/inter...th-chrome.html)

To allow Flash to work in Chrome, access Chrome’s Settings page.

This can be done via the drop-down list in the “three-dot” menu, or you can type “chrome://settings” into the URL bar.
On the Settings page, click Settings > Advanced > Privacy and Security > Content Settings > Flash.
On the Flash page, ensure that “Allow sites to run Flash” is enabled. Users must add the “https://secure.sarsefiling.co.za” address to the “Allow” section of the Flash page.
