Thanks for the heads up, Dave.
    Lekker for geyser circuits.

Now to see who stocks them.

Cheers and peace out ... Derek

Unit is also perfect for construction site DB's vs the prices that we are currently paying - Will have to try and see how they hold up on a construction site

I saw on the UK forums a brand called Fuse Box - there boards and RCBO's seem to get good reviews from those that installed them. They are about 10 quid most places - or R200. Then you obviously have to get them here. They look pretty good.

    I pay R460 for a DB complete with a main switch...60 amp e/l unit... 20 amp geyser combo...40 amp stove...2 x plugs and 2 x lights circuit breakers ... R 360 is a bit steep for 1 x unit... cant say i have ever seen a swan product in a DB.

    Hey Andy

Where do you import your RCBOs from. Been using them in the uk and I rate they are the way forward. Moving back to the SA soon so was just wondering where you import them from.

    Thanks in advance

I have someone in the UK purchase them and send them over. I've bought from Edmonsons and CEF in the past but I've never tried to get the wholesalers to ship direct.

There are limited options available here with the Swan units mentioned above but unfortunately not much else.
