    Need help with online purchase

    Hi there,

I am new here, but I need help. My mother purchased a dress online (KiSiRi Dresses - an overseas company) and she paid..... Yes i know......

There has been no response from the site regarding confirmation of the order placed or any correspondence whatsoever. There are also no contact numbers.
I just want to find out if anyone has used this site before or of there was a way to see if the site is legit etc? I have searched the internet for reviews, and have found nothing.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

If you used kisiri.co.za it's a new domain (registered in December 2016) and I see the registrant is in Shanghai.

Have you tried the Live Help options? (It took a while to load for some reason).

Hi Dave, thank you for your response.

Yes, we have tried the Live Help option. No matter how long we wait, it never seems to be 'online'.

I went testing out the contact page, and noticed something wierd...

Seems as a minimum, the site is buggy.

Try using their messaging service option rather to send a query.

    Also -
Looking at the left hand side of the footer zone there's a "track your order" link.
Have you tried logging in, and is there a result?

We have tried everything; sending requests, sending emails to service@kisiri.co.za, looking for contact numbers, we have tried the live help.

On the 'track your order' page, the details of the order are there, there is a reference number, date of purchase, a note saying that the payment by credit card has been accepted and even a PDF invoice for the order.
We just find it very odd that we cant actually get hold of them, there is no response whatsoever. I have searched the web for any bad comments on this site (Hello Peter etc) and there seems to be nothing, neither good or bad comments.

The order itself is not that expensive, and if we have been fooled and caught in a scam, then shame on us for not being more careful. We are now at the stage where we would just like to know if we were in fact duped and if anyone else fallen prey to this site, or if we should just keep quiet and wait for our order.

    I appreciate your help Dave

That's the bit that bugs me too.

    Kinda related story -
My daughter bought her wedding dress online from a manufacturer in that part of the world (Hong Kong or Shanghai) and it all worked out just fine. From memory, it was a very similarly styled website, although in that instance it had a far more verifiable "web presence". And they were also responsive.

My thinking is this Sikiri site could be a "local presence" version of a bigger, genuine opration.
Or it could just as easily be an imitation of a valid site with the intent to defraud...

    Time will tell I guess.
    When was the order placed?
And was there any indication on expected turnaround time?

Contact Thwate and tell them the story they'll be quick to either give you the details or revoke their certificate

Hi Dave A and Platinumwealth, thanks so much for your responses and assistance.
We have finally received a response from Kisiri, saying that the dress will be shipped and delivered within the next 10 working days...... so we shall see what happens.

If nothing happens, I shall contact Thwate and take it from there.

Again, thank you for your responses.

Good day. I also ordered a dress from Kisiri and are getting worried that the dress might not arrive in SA. I'm curious to know if TDon received the dress they ordered at all? It would really help to know. Thanks

    Hi Hpiet.

Yes, dress was received (it just took a very very long time). But the quality was absolutely horrible. A wedding dress ordered online recently from another website was perfect, it fit like a glove and it was amazing quality, (like something out of a bridal magazine) but the dress from KiSiRi was shoddy work, with ripped hems and uneven material, the material was not as advertised. And the worst part, we tried (within the 24 hours of receipt of the dress) to contact someone to return the dress, but we had no response. So basically we spent all that money on some extra car wash rags.

This was just my experience, yours might be different.
