My employer decided to deduct R1024 off my salary this month for unpaid for last year feb. An audit was done and i had to sign a warning for excessive leave taken which was 13 days and not doing my return to work documents. No trends were picked up and i still have 11 days left but yet i had to sign a warning. We went through a section 197 in Feb 2016.Roughly that time we changed payroll systems twice but now i am thinking that they cannot access the old one. As my documentation was submitted as my return to work was done by my team who is now on maternity leave. Can they do this?
