Pastel Xpress 17 - Print to PDF

Hi, my apologies if this question already exists, I did search first.

I am running Xpress 17 and trying to print an estimate to pdf. I have setup my printer as PDF and copied to all documents and all tabs but still when I print from the estimate it defaults to my printer. I have even changed printer to pdf from within the print dialog window but it still goes to my printer.

Does anyone have any idea how I can stop my Pastel from wasting paper????

    Thanks in advance!!!

I'm not sure why it is behaving that way for you.

However, if you have set up the customer's email address in the customer record, you can go to the Processing tab and select the option to Email (instead of Print).

Then, when you select the Print Document button, the system will use its own internal PDF driver and email it directly to the customer from Pastel.

Thank you Neville, I have just this second discovered what my problem is... I had to set PDF as default printer in Windows through Devices and Printers in Control Panel.
