Forms designer on Pastel Partner and saving .enz files - HELP

    Hi

I am using Pastel Partner and have various companies each with their own custom forms. For this new company I have designed a customer invoice/statement and have saved the .enz files under this specific company on the c drive (under the documents tab and together with all the other files).

Now when I capture the invoice and want to print or email I have to select the custom layout tab and choose the new file as if I don't then it revert to a old system layout. Once the invoice has been updated I cannot choose the custom layout so cannot print or email the documents in the new custom layout.

Please can you help me and tell me exactly where to save the .enz files in order for Pastel to automatically use that layout for only that specific company?

You need to save the .enz files into the respective company folders.

So, for example, if the company folder is located at C:\Pastel14\COY, then the .enz files for company COY must be saved in the COY folder.

Thank you. I have saved the .enz files under C:\Pastel12\company along with all the other dat files etc but it is still not picking up those invoice/statement formats when I need to print or email them.

When I am on forms designer and open up C:\Pastel12\company and select .enz files and open them then they are the correct ones so have no clue why this is not working?

OK, then there might be other issues involved.

If I assume that you are printing to plain A4 paper, then your .enz files should be named as csdocsp.enz (for documents such as invoices, credit notes and orders), and csmthsp.enz (for statements).

Furthermore, if my assumption above is correct, then go to File...Printer/Fonts Setup, and ensure that the Paper Style Assistant is set up for Plain, Single-Sheet paper, for all tabs.
