    Pastel Accounting lost disc

    Hi All. I need some advice please. I've just been given Pastel Accounting Xpress Start-Up by a friend who has changed to a different accounting package.
    When we opened the box, the disc appears to be missing but there appears to be a serial number printed on the box. Is it possible to download the package and then apply the serial number to activate the software? Thank you.

    Yes, it is technically possible to do so, but you will need to ensure that the package is not registered on another computer before you register it on your computer, otherwise you will be in breach of Pastel's ULA.

    Let me know which version of Pastel Xpress it is, and which version of Pervasive, and I will send you a download link.

    Hi Neville. Thanks so much for your response and assisting with this issue. As far as I'm aware, the previous installation of the software was completely removed
    from the computer it was installed on in an effort to eliminate access to the program by an employee and furthermore why they decided to rather change to a totally
    different accounting package.
    The booklet speaks of Pastel Express version 14 and Pervasive version 9. I hope this is correct!

    Hi Neville. Thanks for the links but the installation keeps looking for Pervasive ver 10.3 and won't go any further.
    Do I need a separate link for that version?

    You need to install Pervasive V9 first, then install Xpress V14.

    Also, before installing Pervasive, unzip the file.

    Good day
    I have a similar issue: I have bought a new laptop and cannot find my pastel Xpress v14 disk
    I still have it on my current laptop so I have the serial number etc. If I follow instructions as per Neville Bailey, will I be able to download and install it on my new laptop?

    Hi - you will have to check which version of Pervasive you are registered for, but here are updated links for the software. First install Pervasive, then install Xpress14.
