    Post Subdivision??

    Good morning,

I have a question i need clarification on please.

If there is a business that is in construction let call it X and X has 4 major clients lets call them Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4

Now i have been running Y4 for company X for the past 6 year and have built Y4 from scratch and i want to make an offer to purchase Y4's business from the company but still trade as X due to contract etc, is that possible and if so how would i go about it?

If someone could guide and advise me accordingly please, it will be highly appreciated.

Simplistically it might seem as simple as entering a license agreement to use the name. However the owner of the name should be concerned about just what you might do to the reputation of that name, so the issues go far deeper than the name of the enterprise.

One of the structures that might accommodate the complexities would be something along the lines of a franchise arrangement.
