Year end period, debtors and creditors allowance journals

Hi. Please can someone assist me.
I think I set up my year end period incorrectly, is there a way of changing it after setting up the company.
Also where do you post your debtors and creditors allowance journal entries in sage partner? I entered my debtors journal but see there is the allowance too.
Sure it is pretty simple sorry

If you have not yet processed any transactions after setting up the company, it is possible to change your financial year settings, under Setup...Periods.

If you have already processed transactions, then you are out of luck. Your options are to create the company again from scratch and recapture the transactions, or I can fix it via the backend with my database editor. The time involved will depend on how many transactions you have captured, as each of them will need to be edited to link up to the new financial period. Send me an email if you would like to discuss this option further.

I am not sure what you mean by debtors and creditors allowances.

if you are familiar with PCC(pervasive control center) i could guide you through the process but it might be a bit time consuming as transactions have multiple entries in the database and changing dates and periods is no easy task.
