Need some help on a request for a stop street

There was a big accident this morning on Mouton street, traveling from Ontdekkers to Roodepoort.

The taxi's (and many other cars) use the road as a racetrack. If you want to cross Mouton you have to wait a long while or take a chance. There are regular accidents on that stretch of road.

What process do we follow to get a robot or stop street to calm the traffic?

Contact your metro/municipal engineers department (roads), your ratepayers association (if there is one) and your municipal ward representative. In theory if there are regular accidents at an intersection, traffic engineers should be looking at the problem area automatically anyway. But one probably shouldn't count on it...
