I am taking over the bookkeeping for a small firm and want to transfer the data from Pastel Partner version 14 to Pastel Express version 12. How do I do this? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately it is not possible to convert Pastel data to an earlier version of the program.

Thank you Neville for your response, it is much appreciated. Is there a possibility of exporting the TB and GL as CSV files and then importing into my lower version or will this not work either?
In theory it is possible, I suppose, but the amount of time and frustration to get it to work will be overwhelming, besides the learning curve involved in getting the CSV files structured correctly, etc.
Your best option, quite frankly, is to upgrade your package to V14. You don't necessarily need to upgrade to Partner V14 - you can upgrade to Xpress V14 and still open a company that was created in Partner V14, provided your Xpress V14 package is on the same or later Build version as the Partner V14 package.
I can send you an upgrade quote if you wish.
