    Installation of circuit breakers

    Please help: are there adaptor plates available to mount a DIN Rail circuit breaker to a mini rail? My local hardware / electrical store does not have anything like that in stock, and a Google search also does not return any results, except for suggesting that a piece of the mini rail be cut out of the db board and replaced with a similar length of DIN rail.

    I'm not sure what the mini rail is, is it same as a standard DIN rail profile but smaller or does if have a 'C' or 'G' type profile. You also get samite rail that the CBI breakers mount on and a very old type rail for the Heinemann breakers that incorporated a spring clip at the bottom.

    Here's some of the available DIN profiles;

    The "Mini Rail" is the "samite rail". I know you get an adapter plate from Samite to DIN and from Heineman to Samite. Not quite sure about Samite to DIN?

    Thanks MullerR, it was indeed the little plastic clip on your second picture. I had to use 2 of those because of the width of the timer switch I installed but it is working fine.
