Hey guys - Anton here

I am currently planning on starting a Consulting Firm specializing in Project management.

I've done quite a bit of research and not sure if I should be going with PTY Ltd or with Personal Liability (Inc) - I can't
seem to find anything relating to the difference in tax (if there is any)

The Company will be run by myself as director - no employees as of yet but could grow from 1 - 20 personnel.
Company will purely act as consultants to clients i.e. Group Five, GLTA, ESKOM, Hitachi etc.

Currently I am still working as an employee for my current company and want to do part time work on my own company
after hours until the ball gets rolling and contracts for work has been signed off by the client.

Please advise if I have to register VAT?
Do I claim on the same IRP 12 tax form or a new one for the company?
Which company registration is best for Tax or for Consulting purposes?

Much appreciated
