I am helping out with my husbands small manufacturing business. A US company has enquired about us supplying them. First time supplying overseas, so a little stuck on the paperwork side of things. Do have an export number though!
Is it better to invoice them in Dollars or Rands? They would pay on a Proforma invoice and then the Commercial Invoice would be generated once payment is received and stock ready to go.
Very keen to hear the different opinions.
