    That is why Cape Town is called the Mother City.


    It takes 9 months for anything to happen there....

    I have no idea how it works in Jozi, but apparently its more business like. I am (pretty stereotyped) German and after 17 years here I still get annoyed about slaapstaad attitude. However, I turned it around to my advantage. By just responding to an email and/or return a call without days or several hours of delay (which is easy to do) I am already the star separating me from the sleepy competitors.
    And yes, I am also trying to educate far too often and realize each time that is was a wasted effort because most of these people "just work there" and give a sh!t about he business/boss which feeds them.
