    Exclamation Pastel in Mozambique

    Good afternoon members

I urgently need some help please. I recently took up the role of Group Accountant for an entity who has operations in both SA and Mozambique. Both sets of accounts are in an absolute mess and the accounting and finance departments have had a lot of changes, most recently me.

Apparently Mozambique has a specific layout requirement for one's chart of accounts. We're running pastel and I would greatly appreciate some guidance with regards to this.

I want to reestablish the local GL and sort out the chart of accounts which is what I need to do that side. For reporting purposes, i think it would be easier if they had the same account numbers, but before I do that, I need to find this recommended setup which I am battling with.

Does anyone have the Mozambique layout in Pastel or can anyone provide some advice.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I did a quick Google search and found this link - perhaps this is what you are looking for?

Let me know if you need any assistance in restructuring the existing Chart of Accounts, without losing any history. I have a specialised module that can renumber, merge and delete existing GL accounts, whilst maintaining all transaction history.

    Thanks Neville,

I downloaded that yesterday before posting on here, I was looking for someone who either had this as a generic chart of accounts so that I could just do an import.

I am very interested in your specialised module however. I need to renumber a few of the SA GL accounts as well and this could really help.

Perhaps you can email me directly and we can discuss the exercise in more detail, off the forum.
