Good day, I am wanting to know the implications to myself (employee) of resigning from my job after coming back from Maternity Leave. I have just come back to work after being off for 4 months. While on leave my company did pay me 30% of my salary - nothing was said that I would need to work a specific time period after maternity for this. I had a prem baby and have just completely changed how I feel - I want to take care of my children myself. It is not because I hate my job. My feelings have just changed. Can my employer penalize me in any way for doing this? Thank you
