    Question Pastel Decimal places

    SOS,

We use pastel Partner V14t. The company is setup to handle up to 3 decimal places, inventory 3 decimal places on quantity and invoicing to 2 decimal places. My problem is that when we print customer invoices they have 3 decimal places which i assume is taking it from the company setup. I would now want to change everything to 2 decimals. I have tried using pervasive but cannot find the table with company setup & decimals. Please Help

Hi Lewissangare - the setup for decimal places would be in Setup - Company Parameters - Formats. I am not too sure if you can change from 3 decimal places to 2 once you have made that transition. I think that Neville Bailey will have to help us out on this one.

There are two data tables that contain the decimal settings.

"LedgerParameters", field named "HomeCurrencyFormat" - this sets the decimal places for the ledgers.

"InventoryParameters", fields named "QtyDecimals", "CostDecimals" and "SellDecimals" - these set the decimal places for inventory quantities, inventory unit costs and inventory selling prices.

    Hi Tanja.
Assuming you are running Partner V14 ....Goto pervasive control centre. Locate your server and company database. Goto tables and and select table named LedgerParameters.
    Run the following script.

    "select HomeCurrencyFormat from "LedgerParameters"

Then change to whatever decimal places you wish to have. Dont forget to save/refresh!!!!

    Hope this works!
