Question Pastel Express - working in previous financial year

    Hi all

So I recently started at a new company, The previous lady never did her work up to date, so now its my job to get it up to date. Only one problem, I need to go back to the previous Financial year.
How do I do that? Can I do it?

    Thanks
    Altakie

Hi Altakie - not too sure what you are asking here. When the last person rolled over to the new financial year, she should have made a backup of that "company" which you could access.

Making changes in that company though, will not automatically pull through to your current year, so that will not be very helpful.

Work not done in the previous financial year would result in opening balances being incorrect. You may have to do this work by making journal entries. You can do this by going into settings at the bottom of the journal entry section, and unticking "This year's transactions".
