Codes to use for RA on Pastel Payroll

    Hi there,
Kindly let me know which codes should I use on pastel payroll for the following scenario:

Employer pays the full RA contribution to the fund, but deducts 50% of the contribution from the employees' salary. The other 50% is a company contribution.

    Thanks.

Transaction Code 7100 - RA Tax deductible: must be set to not affect payslip and to not print on payslip. Enter the transaction in the Deductions tab and the total RA amount against it.
Transaction Code 6400 - RA benefit: Enter the transaction in the Benefits tab and the 50% contributed by the employer against it.
Set-up a new deduction Transaction Code and link it to Transaction Template 8500 - Sundry deductions - Non-Tax Deductible. Use that to deduct the employee's 50%.

    Hope this helps!
