    Hi Kristen,

Make a backup of your work thus far so that you can always restore to your present state if something goes wrong.

Go to the Cash Book where you have captured everything. Click on Batch at the bottom, and select export. Give it a name such as Payment.asc and save it to your desktop or a place where you can find it easily.

Do the same with your receipts, giving it a different name.

Now go to the Cash Book where these entries should have been made. Go to Batch at the botttom, and click import. Find the batch that is relevant, and double-click it. It should import all your entries into the correct cash book.

NOTE: entries already in the cash book may be overwritten

Once you have completed it successfully, go to the incorrect Cash book, goto Batch at the bottom and click "delete" and it will clear it for you. Do the same with the Receipts batch.

    Hi Mike,

Your advice is perfect, but I hope you don't mind if I add one little, but critical, piece of information to your post.

Before you import the exported batch file into the correct cashbook, the file needs to opened and the reference to the cashbook's GL account code needs to be edited to that of the correct cashbook.
