ITR12T - New tax form for Trust

    Hi,

Do I need to ensure that all my beneficiaries from my Trust are registered for income tax even though the distribution is below the threshold. (Distribution per beneficiary are R50,000 per year and beneficiaries do not receive any other income)?

I am asking because on the new ITR12T under the heading " Details of Person / Beneficiary" there is a field that require the Taxpayer Ref No.

    Regards,
    Jenine

As far as I know all beneficiaries of a trust should be registered for income tax, as well as provisional tax.
