    Quoting VAT

I have a small business that is not yet VAT registered. I am however now having to quote on tenders that will be invoiced in 1 - 3 years time when it is highly likely that I will be VAT registered.
How do I handle this on the quote?

    Hi Paul

I would just say "prices and rates are exclusive of VAT".

It is even possible, given Nkandla's future requirements, that the VAT rates may even change in the time you mention
