    Bar Coded Original CoR14.3 Registration Certificate

    Hi All

    Does any-one know how to obtain a " Bar Coded Original CoR14.3 Registration Certificate " . I went to the Cape Town CIPC office and was informed they no longer issue them and I should get it online. Ive browsed the CIPC Website under Free Disclosure, but still can not find one for official use.

    Thanks
    Elijah

    On the CIPC website, click Additional Services on the top menu. You'll be directed to the old CIPC website. Log on and click Disclosures - Companies from the menu. Type in the info and retrieve your registration certificate. The cost is (was?) R30.

    Morning,

    What would the procedure be to get hold of the CK1 / CK2? I tried the same process, but it simply provided me with a confirmation.

    @ BeanCounter. Im in agreement with dllatjie. I have used the disclosure tab and paid the R30, but this doesnt give you an officially usable document, as it doesnt have a bar-code at the bottom. So, it just amounts to confirmation. Yes, banks and big finance company's are willing to confirm a company's status this way, but if you handing in to Government agencies they want an official document, they not willing to take the time to go to disclosure and confirm.

    I confirmed with the bank, they request this disclosure form anyway, just to check that the CK1 is correct.

    I have found contact details on CIPC's website, but not sure if they will be able to provide me with the correct details. Here is the link:

    http://www.cipc.co.za/Disclosures_Contacts.aspx

    Then they forwarded me a form, An MOO2 form to send them, which is very unclear, but if I understand it correctly, it will cost R0.50 for the documents. See below:

    @Dellatjie, I use the same function and ask for disclosure of a Close Corporation.

    @Elijah, I missed the part where you asked about a bar-coded registration form. I know what you mean, I received the bar-coded CoR14.3 via email upon registration of a new company but if you want it for an existing company I believe you have to complete form M002 and email it to disclosure@cipc.co.za. Have a look at http://www.cipc.co.za/Disclosures.aspx. The banks are quite anal about the bar-coded CoR14.3. Best of luck and please give us feedback!

    @Beancounter,

    I submitted the M002 early in July, but have not received feedback yet. I received a read receipt.

    Where do I follow up on this matter? There is no telephone number for these people?

    @ Beancounter, interested to know what your response is in the Inbox. I would also like to pose the question/statement. What-if one obtains the Free Disclosure [R30] and stamps it with a commissioner of oaths, should this not suffice for other Institutes besides banks [Because the banks verify, by obtaining the free disclosure themselves, whereas govt agencies, would not take the time out to verify for themselves.]

    It seems like this MOO2 form is a long drawn out process and on a cost/benefit basis not worthwhile. ?
