    Windows; Access is Denied..

I'm pulling my hair out with my laptop with Windows 7. I am unable to install device drivers because each time I try I get Access is denied. Now I've tried all sorts of remedies published on the net but still no joy joy. it seems to be a permissions issue but I have been unable to resolve it to date. I am an administrator on the machine but it seems that I do not have enough privileges to do everything.

    eish...stooped thing!

Microsoft is driving me up the wall!! I have purchased an Office 365 multi-user key so that I can sync my 2 PC's and my laptop. Smartphone would be added later, but put on hold due to all the problems experienced. It is impossible to download the user key. Password upon password and I am now so confused that I do not remember which one I have tried first or last.

I have tried Microsoft's online support with no joy. It appears as if they are trying to fob you off as soon as it gets a bit technical. This afternoon the moron gave me a "service number" in the UK to dial. When I asked who would pay for the call and why he could not help me, he logged me off! It seems as if I am not the only one with this problem. Online communities report the same problems with downloading office 365.

I then phoned the "customer support" line, only to find that I am speaking to a robot ...If you... press If you...press etc etc. The switchboard put me through to this same robot when I explained my problem to her and asked to speak to someone. On the 3rd attempt I was put through to an alien from some faraway planet. He listened patiently while I explained my problem and then put me on hold. I terminated the call after about 20 - 30 minutes. He did take my number, but never came back to me.

I have now contacted the regional manager of MS in Durban. let's see if he has the balls to fix this problem and the damage to Microsoft's reputation.

I tried everything I could find...until I decided to uninstall anything that looked vaguely suspicious. Lo and behold, it sorted itself out. I can't say that I know what caused the problem nor what fixed it because I did so many things and uninstalled a lot of software.

Maybe a glitch in the Torrent matrix.....
