Question Company/cc Income Tax Returns on e-Filing

I have never dabbled in submitting Company or CC Income Tax Returns and cannot give the answer to a friend's question: Maria and hubby operate a CC - Is she required to complete both a Provisional Return (IRP6) as well as an ITR14 for the Company? Please advise

Yes, for the cc as well as themselves; members of cc's, like directors of companies, are automatically provisional tax payers.

The IRP6 is twice a year, August and February in respect of any given year. An optional top up payment can be made before the end of August, which means that in a sense there are 3 possible IRP6 payments, thus enabling them to avoid penalties if their estimates were too low.

Right now the only route available to them is most likely a top up payment, because the deadline of the 2nd submission has passed.
