    New political party - FN

I was listening to RSG on my way to work this morning and they had an interview with Dan Roodt who was speaking on behalf of the new political party called Front Nasionaal (or something like that - taken from the French political party).

I'm not into politics, but ... really, what are the people thinking?

I would like to know what other people think about this. Those of you who are into politics.
The guy from RSG (Kobus) sounded like he was not impressed by this party, and I actually got the impression that Dan was talking in "circles" to try and explain himself so that it makes sense as to what the goals of this party is supposed to be.

These would-be parliamentarians, or the electorate?

The would-be parliamentarian is thinking "if I can just get enough votes, I'll have landed a pretty sweet job for the next 5 years. Nice car, nice house, lots of travel,..."

The electorate is thinking "what are we going to have for dinner tonight."
