Medical Tax Credit - member of CC

Needs some assistance on tax return of member of CC - below 65 years

CC pays member medical aid contribution and amount reflects on IRP5 code 3810
Also reflects same amount on code 4005 and 4474 ON IRP5

Medical Scheme Fees Tax Credit inserted on IRP5 in the amount of R5520 (Member plus Spouse)

Is that correct that he can also receive Tax Credit of R5520?

The medical contributions paid by the CC, are disclosed correctly under the IRP 5 codes.

With regards to the Medical tax credit, its 460 per month for one member plus a dependent (Your spouse) therefore the figure of R5520 is correct and can be claimed.

    Hope this helps you.
