We use MDS http://collivery.co.za/. If they are too expensive then we use the berco packets at Pick n Pay.
MDS now give us a 20% discount

It seems Fastway is the most affordable so far.
The fastway guy in my area was useless you phoned and no one came to collect so you had to phone again and lose a day. Then when they say 1 day and you tell your customer this it gets there late. I have found MDS more reliable for me but don't let them collect more than 1 parcel at a time they managed to switch these for me so we wait until they collect and register a second package. I would buy a few tickets and then try that.

I suppose that's what you get with prepaid, the money is already in the bank

They are worth trying and maybe the local guy in your area is jacked up as it is a franchise system. I would buy the 10 or 20 tickets and try them out.

a friend wants to send me some computer RAM from Texas, USA.
whats the cheapest way to get it here?
apparently the US postal service will charge close to $50 for posting it
is there another cheaper way?
im not in a hurry for it, so even if it takes a month to receive it, its OK, as long as i do receive it.
A “conspiracy theory” no longer means an event explained by a conspiracy. Instead, it now means any explanation, or even a fact, that is out of step with the government’s explanation and that of its media pimps.
With the continuous local Post office strikes, I doubt that you will ever get the parcel.
Courier is the safest method to receive an item.
