Sorry if I'm griping, but I have seen far too many animals suffer. The case I remember well was when a German Shepherd tore open his abdomen and entrails on a razor wire fence to get away from the bangs, was put down and the neighbours were fined R500.00. Biggest shocker, it was their own dog. They had a new dog within a month and were setting-off fireworks again by next Easter weekend.
Given the law unto myself, I would've given them the death penalty...
