Importing multi currency invoices to Pastel from a third party source

    Hi,

Neville, I am hoping you have a handy trick up your sleeve for this one:

My client would like to do her own multi currency invoicing and then send me the CSV batch to be imported into Pastel.
I do her monthly accounting work at my office and I am currently using Partner 11 (I do have Partner 12 so if her current data has to be converted, its not a problem)

Can you recommend third party software that will integrate seamlessly or perhaps offer an alternative solution?

    Thanks a mill.

Hi Kim, please fill in a few gaps in your scenario for me.

Does your client have Pastel as well, or is the idea that they will produce their multi-currency invoices in Excel?

Do you have the multi-currency module on your version of Pastel?

    Hi Neville,

    Thanks for responding so quickly,

The client doesn't have Pastel, she is considering using this but is also open to alternative suggestions

The key is to obtain a CSV file, which is in the prescribed layout for importing into your invoice batches.

If your client can get their system to produce such a CSV file, then you are sorted.
