    My TFSA

I have never been big into the online social scene. I tried the chat room scene once and got stuck in for about 2 days, thereafter the quantity over quality offended my sensibilities. As for FB, I was mad gun ho for a year or so after it started, once again quantity over quality interaction was the deal breaker. I don’t even remember my login details. Just the time and effort it takes to interact with so many people, hibo. It’s like having your own personal little social cloud carnival with the FOMO running the show. Madness madness. Wife loves it though.

The main reason I joined TFSA was to learn more about business, in a different format. I started a bit dof, had no real idea of what was cutting (going on) at first. I thought - Full on ad-attack or something. When the eagle landed I liked the landscape never thought I would enjoy the site as much as I do. I learn, and play mostly (sorry).

TFSA strikes a nice balance, for me, between business and life. I learn much more than I can teach. I enjoy the intelligent- monty python banter. But I learn so much. It’s often those nuanced reflections of somebody who has dealt with a particular issue to passion, that most enlightens me.

For me TFSA is the perfect mix. There is Business, Fun, Intellect, Sorrow, Joy, Enthusiasm, Optimism, Pessimism... and A Happy-Go-Lucky banter. I too have learned much on the business front, I find the many, many topics to be interesting and challenging.

Just a fairly good amateur, I think

It's great to hear TFSA is striking the right notes. Ultimately a huge chunk of the credit has to go to all the members (TFSA Locals in particular) who help set the tone of the site. I had a vision from the outset as to what a healthy, online, local business community culture might look like, and all you guys and gals have helped achieve and even exceed my hopes and expectations.

And I learn so much along the way, just like everyone else here.

Long may it continue that way

The BIG benefit of a forum is when you learn something (and you will), the education is not coming from a text book, but from a library of text books, written by many authors, and can have different opinions and views on the same topic, you will soon realise that there are many ways to de-pelt a feline. It is by far the best education you can get, and it doesn't cost an arm & leg.

    Thanks members.
