Value Business to add new member to CC

    Hi there,

I am hoping you guys can give me some good advise. My husband and I have a cc in which we are 50/50 members. We have a colleague who works for us on a freelance basis but he is detrimental to the success of our business and where we want to go. We have been working with him for several years now and feel its time to make him an equal member in our cc.

How do we go about valuing the business so that we can offer him shares - we would obviously want a professional to do this so that it is as accurate as possible? Who can we approach to do this? Has anyone else been in this same situation and how did you go about setting it all in motion?

Any advice will be most appreciated.
