Unhappy Need help from somebody with QuickBooks software to access data from old back-up file

    Hello.

I used QB (subscription version from ABSA) till more than a year ago and have a back-up file.

I need to check which bills I added up for a specific VAT-return.

The problem is that sometimes I register bills only for later VAT-returns. In this case it is a lot of bills (for a period there was some chaos because we moved).
Now I have a stack of bills (of a certain period) and I don't know which of them I used for the VAT-return of that period, which later (and which I might not have registered at all).
Unfortunately, I only have a print out of the summary, not of the list of bills.

Thus, I would email you the back-up file and hope that QB still spits out the bills I used for that VAT return.
That list could be either exported or printed to pdf to send it back to me (or copy and paste as TXT or WRI or ...).

Anybody willing to try help me?

In the meantime, I have been helped, so there is no need for any further reply anymore. Thank you very much (to the person who helped me)!!!

What have I learnt? Next time I sell a software where I still have back-up files, I will try to keep a copy of the installation disk (for emergencies).

It was a pleasure. Can I delete the backup and generated files on my side now?
