    Information - Help?

    Hi all,

I am in the process of starting a new business, but am struggling to get market information on SME's preferences. In a nutshell, I need to know whether this is something they would use, and what costing the market will bear.

    Any ideas?

I have done a survey, and asked people to fill this in (to avoid personal bias) but getting responses is like pulling teeth!

    Thanks for the help,
    Smudgey

Is there a similar or competing product in the market? How does the price compare with what is already there? Is it an essential or niche product? Much more info is required to be able to give an intelligent answer.

    Hi,

Thanks for the info. There are indeed other competing products in the market and pricing is in a similar bracket but with additional "value adds" and online capability which is sorely missing in the market.

Take a look at the survey for more info?

A personal PA service at a reasonable price can work well for the one man entrepreneur who can not afford a full time PA. It can also boost the image of the business if a professional and consistent service can be provided

I think it about how would you start the business and how does it work. However, it is about competing the business including the product or the business. But, you can aware this problem through your effort to know about what is business matters.

    Hi Rusty
This does not make sense to me. EG "you can aware this problem through your effort to know about what is business matters" what does that mean?
It looks like you did a translate from a different language into English.

Thanks Blurock, this helps a lot. The idea is to be a professional brand with an emphasis on customer service. I will admit that I am struggling to get this from "idea phase" to actually running with it in reality. Very scary indeed!

Most likely Urdu (if that's the cause of the problem) seeing as the poster in question is actually in Pakistan.
