    Group Purchasing Site

We are busy with a collective cow deal. They are just around the corner from us. 4 of 35 sold so far, the main aim from our side is to raise profile.
Anyone else tried a group buying site?

Looks almost like a Groupon type of deal.

I have a mate who ran a Groupon deal - he was pretty happy with the results.

He did say you need to be smart about it though and pick what you're offering carefully.

We looked for a deal where we wouldn't lose money plus it is a limited offer. Lets see if this helps with marketing.
I have read about groupon deals were 1000s of items were sold at a loss.

    How it works.......
We will authorise your credit card to book the deal for you.
If enough people join the deal to push it over its tipping point, the deal is on!
We will charge your credit card only if the deal is on, and deliver the voucher to you via email

Not sure if I'm reading this right, but does it seem as if there's an auction attached to it?

When these first started there was a tipping point say only if 5 people bought then the deal is on. Now with this deal there is no tipping point. Anyway buy the deal to see how this works.
