    Restoring data from CD [Pastel]

We have just received our Pastel data backups from our accountants executor (the accountant passed away recently) and they have given the backup to us on cd and not in ZIP format.
I have tried all sorts of things to get our data restored and it's just not working. Please, please can someone advise how i can get our data back, everything is in such a state since the accountant passed.
    Thanks!

Firstly try to copy the data to your hard drive and restore from there - it may be because the CD is read only....

Thanks for the tip, but that was the first thing i did.

I have also pasted the file directly into the XPRESS folder and done the 'manage' and 'add company' - nada zip zilch!

In what format is the data saved onto the CD?

Is it a zip file, or a folder?

Another question: Is the data on the CD generated from the same version and build of Pastel that you are using?

Would you like me to log onto your system remotely with TeamViewer and see where the problem is?

If you don't have TeamViewer, you can download it onto your desktop by clicking here and then give me a call on 082 456 7881.
