Yip - Bought the Note 2 a month or two ago. It is amazing.

Seriously, it's by far the best phone on the market right now. Unless you have an issue with the size, it's a no-brainer. The size quickly becomes more of a joy than an inconvenience - in my experience anyway.

Watch a couple video reviews - the things that it can do are just... wow. It's also the quickest phone I've ever used and is a definite step up on my old Galaxy S2.

Thanks for that Mark - problem is how do you carry it with you? I managed to land my Galaxy S 2 in the sea as I cannot yet find a decent pouch...

It fits in my pocket without much of an issue. I also picked up a nice Samsung cover which covers the back and sides, but not the screen. That suffices for me. Most of the time my phone sits on the desk next to me.

You could also pick up a flip cover which may or may not suit you. I didn't want one because it makes it inconvenient to take photos.

I'm not a fan of actual pouches for phones - too much of a hassle to take out and put back in.

  6. Thanks given for this post:

I just bought a plastic cover for my Note. (To protect it from scratching) Everything else makes it too bulky. But thats me. I carry it in my top pocket, it just makes it. But I am a big guy that like big shirts with pockets both sides.

The Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II have been an exception, however. Despite rumors of next-generation devices, Samsung’s smartphones have remained “red-hot” and consumers are still eating them up.
