Changes to my job - do I have a say?

    Hi all,
My boss wants to change my job description from Payroll Manager to just a normal processor, my salary will stay the same, and then they want to give me more VAT processing to do and take away most of the salaries that I'm processing. This is to accomodate another person who needs a job and have only payroll experience. We don't need this new person, this move would be only to accommodate her... I love doing the payrolls & recons and I have just completed a certificate course in payroll & tax administration.... Do I have a say in this at all? Or would this mean that I have to accept this change?

Not sure, but I don't think this can be done unilaterally.

As there is no change in the remuneration, there is not much that you can do.
