    Pastel Invoicing

Does anybody have some suggestions ?

I want to do the following:
To print 2 half size Tax Invoice and Copy Tax invoice on one regular A4 sheet, however not by changing the printer settings because I print other documents on the same printer that need to be regular A4.

So I have to achieve this either through the use of Pastel's forms designer or a utility that will change the printer setting for only this particular document.

All this in an effort to save a tree !

    Hmmm, an interesting one, Martin!

Essentially, you need to be able to have more than one Page Header, Page Footer and Detail on the same form file - if I can figure out how to do that, if it is at all possible, then the problem is solved.

Martin we use fineprint it cost US$50 when we bought it. You can do 1 up, 2up 4up etc.
We use it for booklet printing assembling different files into 1 print job. Another feature I like is print an email to it and you can delete the last few pages and print the rest. There is a free version which prints a website address on it.
Or you can print to PDF then print multiple pages per sheet from reader.
Only stress when you can change the outcome!

    Martin.
Download primopdf and install that. This then installs as a print driver. I suggest you open a directory called PDF and place the PDFs created there.
What you then do is when printing select Primopdf as your printer then a dialogue will come up and you can name the file and place in the "PDF" directory. You will then get a PDF open in Adobe reader, Then select print and in the dialogue look for a dropdown button in the middle for multiple pages per sheet. Look at this as it then depends on what printer you use to get the correct layout to print 2 pages per sheet.

I assume Pastel prints both invoice and copy invoice together.

It sounds complicated but becomes second nature.

    Ian,

I have installed the program and works well except for...................it seems to forget to use "Landscape" every time.
I need to change with every invoice I make. Any fix on this ?

The trick maybe is to leave the X by X boxes blank.
